Valentine's Day Shows

Cheryl-Renée spent Valentine's Day with the love of her life: her music! She did three shows, one at an English Fellowship Church dinner and two at Ra-Q, a Quito restaurant. The shows were mostly Broadway and classical numbers, featuring Cheryl's mother, Elaine Childs on piano. The last show at Ra-Q also featured a jazz set with bassist
Sergey Proshunin from the Quito-based band Camaleon. (It was actually one of Sergey's solo gigs that landed Cheryl-Renée the gigs at Cocina de Autor. Cheryl-Renée sang on one of Sergey's songs last minute and walked out an hour later booked for two shows for Valentine's Day!) Cheryl ended the concert with a preview of the upcoming Gatekeepers album.

Cheryl-Renée had a wonderful time and would like to thank her mother, Sergey, Pato Sanchez, and Cocina de Autor for making the evening possible!
