I've been invited to be part of a four-band discussion panel on Metal Nation Radio! It's a program called Spotlight on You, which invites members from various bands to discuss anything and everything! Other guests include Afterlife's Steve Reilly, Motortrain's Ump McCollum, and Patrick Donovan from Toy Called God. I'm really looking forward to discussing who knows what with these guys!

The instruments have all been recorded for the Legend's Ghost version of Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven. Now, all that's left to be done is to record the narrator and send the song off to post production.

Minneapolis-St. Paul musicians needed!

I've decided to move to Minneapolis, MN, and one thing I really want to do there is be able to play Legend's Ghost songs live. In order to do that, I need musicians. I need a drummer, bassist, keyboardist, and 1-2 guitarists. 

Requirements:
  • Good technical command of your instrument
  • Be willing to play shows regularly throughout the Twin Cities area and occasionally in other parts of the US and Canada.
  • Be able to work together with the rest of the band and be a team player

The Stupidest Thing You've Done For Love

Legend's Ghost is about stories, and what better story than a love story?
But of course, I don't want anyone to feel left out. As someone who has spent a grand total of one Valentine's Day in a relationship, and that evening was spent volunteering at a crisis center since my partner and I weren't actually on the same continent that day, I can relate to people who get sick of hearing all the gory details of the perfectly magical evenings their roommates/cousins/siblings/co-workers/hairdressers ...

My colleague and friend Anders Thonander has just released his new album with his project Korsair! The album is called Mechopolis, and you might recognize some of the guest artists! I just got the final tracks needed to finish Gatekeepers, so that means I just need to record a few backing vocals here and there and mix the two songs that Pamo sings on, and then, the CD will finally be available to you! You can expect it early October.

As some of you who follow me on Facebook, Twitter, and Reverbnation may be aware, I'm recording a musical version of Edgar Allen Poe's poem "The Raven." Unlike previous Legend's Ghost recordings, this one will use only real instruments and no VSTs.

I didn't want just another spooky piece with an organ. Much as I love organs, I didn't think I needed to channel my inner 1930s radio theater director and summon the spookiness with the perfectly placed but now cliché C minor organ chord. I decided...
