So, there's a lot of news here.

First, I would like to announce that I am involved in a new project here in Ecuador. Last August, I was playing a show with Legend's Ghost. There was another gothic band there called Triskel. I thought they looked like interesting people, so I took pictures of them as they performed, and then asked if they wanted to see them. (Probably the oldest stalker trick in the book, but hey. It worked.) To my surprise, they asked me if I wanted to sing with them. I agreed to go to a rehearsal to see how it was. I liked it, and have since been performing various shows with them. This does not mean I have abandoned Legend's Ghost. Not by any means. I am just always open to new musical opportunities, whether they be to record or perform.

Next, I would like to explain Legend's Ghost's cancellation on April 28th. We were scheduled to perform, and I was on my way to the venue when I received a phone call from my drummer, Cristian Nieto's, phone. But it wasn't Cristian. It was a stranger. He seemed to be looking for someone who knew Cristian. I was confused and unsure how to react to such an inquiry. I asked him why he had Cristian's phone. He told me Cristian had been hit by a car near the trolley station and was unconscious. I called the other members of the band so that they could notify his family. Thankfully, Cristian was ok in the end, but for obvious reasons, I had to cancel the show. I am very sorry if anyone was there specifically to see us, but I am sure you will understand why we could not do the show under such circumstances.

Finally, I would like to announce some upcoming shows here in Ecuador.

May 26 - El Molinon, Quito. Legend's Ghost and Triskel, along with El Delicado Sonido del Trueno, Chernobyl, and Necrotika, will be opening for the Columbian gothic band Gaia's Pendulum.

June 23 - Ibarra. Legend's Ghost and Triskel will both be performing at a gothic festival. More details will follow.

Bueno. Hay muchas noticias aquí

Primero, quiero anunciar que estoy ya en otro proyecto aquí en Ecuador. El agosto pasado, estaba presentando con Legend's Ghost. Hubo otra banda gótica, Triskel, tocando el mismo concierto. Me parecían gente interesante, entonces tomé fotos de ellos mientras que tocaron, y luego les pregunté si querían verlos.(Probablemente es la trampa de acechadora que existe, pero bueno. Funcionó.) Me sorprendieron cuando me preguntaron si quería cantar con ellos. Les dijo que quería ir a un ensayo para ver como era. Lo gusté, y desde este momento, he presentado en varias tocadas con ellos. Eso no significa que he abandonado a Legend's Ghost. De ninguna manera. Solo es que siempre estoy abierta a nuevas oportunidades musicales, si es para grabar o presentar.

Tambien quiero explicar la cancelación de la tocada de Legend's Ghost el 28 de abril. Estabamos en el cartel para presentar, y estuve en camino al bar donde ibamos a tocar cuando recibí una llamada del celular de mi baterista, Cristian Nieto. Pero no fue Cristian. Fue un desconocido. Parecía que estaba buscando a alguien que le conocía. Me sentí muy confundida y no sabia como reaccionar a la situación. Le pregunté porque tenía el celular de Cristian. Me contó que Cristian habia sido golpeado por un auto y que estaba inconciente. Llamé a los otros integrantes de la banda para que podían llamar a su familia. Menos mal, estaba bien al final, pero por razones obvios, tuvo que cancelar la tocada. Lo siento muchísimo si alguien estaba allí especificamente para vernos, pero creo que van a entender porque no era posible hacer la tocada bajo tales circunstancias. 

Y por fin, quiero annuciar algunas tocadas que vamos a hacer en Ecuador:

26 de mayo - El Molinón, Quito. Legend's Ghost y Triskel, junto a El Delicado Sonido del Trueno, Chernobyl y Necrotika, van a abrir para la banda gótica colombiana Gaias Pendulum.

23 de junio - Ibarra. Legend's Ghost y Triskel van a tocar en una festival gótica. Mas detalles luego.
